This precious girl is Rosie. She was surrendered to the shelter because the owner traveled to often and had no time for her.
She was around other cats and children. She really does act as regal as her photo shows her, but in the most wonderful way. She is a love and we are excited for her new future, so if you are interested in meeting this precious girl, please stop by the shelter

Sign Adoption Contract

We do not have applications our adoptions are first come, first serve.

Take the Pet Home

All available pets are spay/neutered and ready to go home immediately.

Additional adoption info

$100 Adoption Fee

Our adoption fee includes Spay/Neuter, heartworm/leukemia testing, initial vaccinations, deworming, flea preventive, micro chip, sample bag of food and various other services.

The Cherokee County Animal Shelter is a "full service" operation. We take in animals that are brought in by Cherokee County Animal Control officers, animals owned by citizens of Cherokee County and unwanted strays found in Cherokee County. The Cherokee County Animal Shelter also adopts animals out to the public.
