Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Penny is an almost 4 yr old (12/1/20) 9-pound Maltipoo. Penny was recently rescued from an Amish puppy mill. She is very fearful of people. She is going to take some time and patience to come around. That being said Penny loves dogs and finds comfort in them. She is also good with cats. Penny is not yet housebroken. Penny requires a home with a physical fenced yard and another dog.
Adoption fee is $450

More about this rescue
Passion for Pets Rescue (PPR) is a non-profit (501c3), insured and state licensed rescue, run by volunteers. We are a small group of like minded folks with big hearts. PPR does not have an actual shelter, all of our dogs are either in foster homes in Maine or with our Southern partners in Mississippi.
PPR covers all medical expenses. The majority of the dogs we rescue require immediate veterinary care. Skin infections and internal parasites are common occurrences. We pay for all spay & neuter surgeries. PPR makes sure all dogs are given age appropriate vaccinations, as well as, preventative medication for Heartworm and external parasites.
Please contact us if you would like to help foster, transport, fundraise or volunteer.
