Meet Isabella!

Isabella is a one year old DMH Manx brown tabby. Manx means she was born without a tail! She is housetrained, microchipped, vaccinated, spayed and ready to go!

Isabella's story is a sad one. She was a stray that kept visiting the same balcony so kind gentleman fed her and made a little bed for her. One day she gave birth to 5 kittens! He was concerned about the little family so he called MAR and the rest is history.

Isabella is a petite kitty with lots to say! Her playful nature is fun to watch as she chases after toys. With her friendly, chatty disposition, she easily wins over everyone she meets, her sweet demeanor melting hearts. Isabella's spirit is undeterred by her previous circumstances. When it's time to snuggle up, her purrs are a soothing melody. Isabella is looking for a home where she can share her love and joy. She's ready to be a loyal companion, her playful antics sure to bring laughter and happiness into any home. She is currently in foster with other cats and kids and we think she would adjust to a respectful dog (given time of course).

Step 4: Vet Check
Step 5: Home Visit
Step 6: Adoption!

As we are a rescue group, we don't have a shelter, just loving foster homes throughout Muskoka. Please contact us to make an appointment to see an animal.

More about this rescue

We are a volunteer-based, donation-only service that provides adoption services for people who are looking for a new furry addition to their family. We also provide non-judgemental, supportive help for people who are surrendering their companion animals.

We provide free advice and suggestions to people who are experiencing issues with their pets, including but not limited to behavioural issues, training advice, surrender help, and much more: spay/neuter education, advice and referrals.

We have a screening process that includes an application, telephone screen and a home visit to make sure the people are "as good as they sound on the phone". We also contact their vet and do a reference check.

We are committed to helping people find homes for their pets because we care about our community and love animals.
