My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Orange is a domestic shorthair tortie female who is 5 months old. She is sister to Apple and Banana.

Meet Orange, a kitten with a heart as sweet as her name suggests. She's a playful little spirit who can turn any ordinary object into a fascinating toy. Her funny antics, such as chasing her own tail, will bring laughter into your home. Orange can be a little shy at first, but don't be disheartened. She's just taking her time to get to know her human friends. Once she warms up to you, she's the most loyal and gentle companion. Orange loves the sound of a friendly voice, and her purrs are her way of saying 'I love you.' She's still learning to trust and love, but every day she's making progress. If you're looking for a loyal, gentle, and sweet friend, Orange is the kitten for you. She deserves a loving home where she can continue to grow and flourish.

She would like to go to a home with a young cat or dog friend she can bond to or in a pair with another kitten.

Orange is spayed, microchipped and is vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies. She still requires her FVRCP booster when age appropriate which will be the responsibility of her adopters. Her adoption fee is $300, $550 for a pair, or $795 for a trio. To apply, please submit an adoption application.

Additional adoption info

Most of our cats live in foster homes. Some are available to meet at satellite locations such as Pet Valu and Ren's Depot. A few foster homes are available to meet and greets at their home, or we also do meet and greets at request at our shelter prior to adoption. Most of these results in same day adoptions, and only take place after an adoption interview.
