A blue-eyed baby is what songs are written about. With beautiful eyes and a stunning coat, Turtle and his brother Tadpole will get more than just a little attention. They will get huge amounts of admirers with no end in sight. They are both 5 months old and very charming husky boys.
Currently Turtle is around 36 pounds, and he is expected to be a large dog, over 60 pounds when fully grown. Not only will he grow in size but also his friends list will grow too. He does well with other dogs, children of all ages and adults. With a friendly dude like Turtle, his friendliness knows no bounds and that equates to having lots of best friends. He has medium to high energy so he will need a home that can keep him on his toes to work off his energy level on a daily basis. He has not had the opportunity to be introduced to a cat since coming into rescue so is it unknown how he would appreciate a feline companion.
Turtle knows that a skill set is important, and he is not about to shy away from his mission of learning his house, crate and leash training. He knows it will take commitment and consistency on his part as well as the support of his family to assist him along the way.
As with all puppies, Turtle is full of curiosity and wonderment, and is ready to grow from adorable puppy to an amazing dog with the right guidance and patience. He will need a home with someone who has the time, desire and energy to train and socialize him so that he can become the perfect lifelong companion.
It is all about love when you have Turtle by your side. He is ready to be your everything. All it takes is a moment of your time and once you meet him, you cannot resist taking this boy home as your next canine family member.
The adoption fee for Turtle is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees.
