Hi there, I’m Charlie, a handsome 7-month-old, 30 lb “Lowrider” Labrador mix, born on 3/28/24 in a litter of 5 in San Antonio Texas. Our Mama was a stray Labrador Retriever mix found by a family unaware she was already pregnant and once we were born we quickly realized Papa must have been a handsome Bassett Hound or some other breed with lowrider legs, LOL! Last month we were all adopted by families in the Northeast, and through no fault of my own, I am looking for a new forever family.
I am a sweet and friendly boy who loves all people, other dogs, and kitty cats, and my tail is usually wagging. I have a medium energy level and a Labrador personality… easy to live with, easy to love, and a desire to please my family. I love playing fetch and running zoomies, going for walks while holding my own leash, and I can easily entertain myself when I have nobody to play with. I’m already housebroken, only bark to alert, and good in a crate when I’m home alone. I’m sweet, funny, loving, and snuggly, and enjoy curling up beside you on the couch at night. I’m a good boy and would fit in perfectly with any family and although I currently sleep in a crate each night, I would love to sleep on the bed. My future looks bright and I am ready for another chance to be a loved and valued family member. I’m in Connecticut, so you can easily meet me, just be prepared to fall in love and take me home!
* 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Please DO NOT apply unless the entire family / household is on board with adopting one of our dogs. We must receive an application for you to move forward in the process. Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.
