My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone, my name is Cobalt, and I was recently taken into the rescue after been found on the streets of a local town with my brother named Indigo. We were both only about 3 months of age, so we are unsure why we were dumped outside to fend for ourselves.

Thankfully, we were seen and captured and have been living at a foster home awaiting the time we were old enough to be neutered. Finally, that time had come, and I was neutered and recovered very quickly. I am only 6 months of age, so I am still a young bun. I am now learning how to use a litterbox, and my foster mom says I am picking it up very quickly. I am quite curious of my surroundings, and I have tons of baby energy to spare!!! I currently live in an xpen with lots of enrichment items and I am especially fond of my tunnels. I like to do zoomies in and out of the tunnels like I am an Olympic athlete. The whole family seems to be enjoying how silly I am!!

I am eating a proper diet of Oxbow Timothy hay, timothy pellets and a big bowl of fresh water. I also have finally started trying different greens and treats since I am old enough for them to be introduced to my diet safely.

I may be a great bonding candidate for a young, spayed female but I do have lots and lots of energy so older ladies I may be a bit too much for.

Would you consider opening your heart and home to a handsome gent like me?

More about this rescue

After fostering for over 20 years I decided it was time to open my own rescue. Bunnies are intelligent caring sensitive creatures who blossom in the right environment. They have much more spunk and personality than most people realize . You will be a convert once you have the chance to experience first hand how wonderful a compainon they can be.
