My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mr Cleo! He is from the Greek Island of Paros. He was found as a very young kitten crying for food. He was so small, his rescuer thought he was a girl, so he was named Cleopatra. When she realized Cleopatra was a boy she changed his name to Mr. Cleo. After he was rescued, he shared a small room with Pericles and they have been together ever since. Mr. Cleo is very loving, affectionate, loves belly rubs and gives kisses. He is a bit more shy than his buddy Pericles, but is getting more confident every day. They make a perfect pair, and would need to be adopted together. Mr Cleo was born around 05/20/2024.

Additional adoption info

Once you've filled out an application, we will contact your references and put you in touch with the foster/caregiver of the cat. Once your application is approved, we schedule you to attend a Zoom group seminar on cat care. We invite both novice and experienced alike to attend. Then you would sign the adoption agreement, pay the adoption fee, and make arrangements for the cat to be moved to your home. We always do a home visit which is both reassuring to the cat when it is being introduced and to the foster who has taken care of the cat. Presently we are doing home visits with FaceTime or Zoom to confirm you have secure windows, no toxic plants and a generally safe environment for a cat. The adoption fee is $150 for one cat under 7 years old, $75 for one cat 7 years and older.

All cats have been tested for the Feline Leukemia and FIV virus, vaccinated (FVRCP and Rabies vaccines), microchipped, dewormed and spayed/neutered. If you adopt kittens that are too young to be altered, we will arrange the spay/neuter/microchip at a later date at a partner vet.
