Meet Betty Rizzo, the sassiest brindle lab mix around! Born in June 2024, she’s living with her foster crew of other dogs and older kids—and she’s convinced she’s the queen of them all. Full of spunk and play, Betty Rizzo’s got enough charm to make the whole house laugh. Young enough to handle a cat sibling (but she’ll probably make them her loyal sidekick), this sweet girl is ready to add a dash of personality to your home. Apply to adopt her at ITVrescue.org!

All of our dogs are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated, if necessary.

It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.
