My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking for a cuddle buddy for the colder months? Libby is your girl!

Libby is an approximately 1-year-old, and ready to shower her family with all the kisses and love. Libby is a sweet, gentle girl who was found as a stray, and has been thriving since landing in her foster home! Her ideal day includes lots of cuddling on the couch, playing with her doggy foster brother, and meeting new (human and dog) friends on her walks. Libby can be a bit shy meeting dogs out on walks, if she sees a dog walking towards her, she’ll sit down next to you and patiently wait for the other dog to introduce themselves first, but she doesn’t get her feelings too hurt if they don’t want to say hi!

  • Commands Known: Libby knows “sit” and “down.” She is highly treat-motivated, a good listener, smart as a whip, and eager to please people!

  • Leash Manners: Libby is working on being brave on her leash! She might get a bit nervous and sit down in protest after doing her business, but with a little encouragement, she’ll get right back to walking.

  • Kid/Dog Manners: Libby has been a sweetheart to every dog we’ve met, and has done great with kids of varying ages. Libby does have some “puppy” behavior she’s working on (jumping, licking faces), so she might do better with children who are a bit bigger!

  • What Libby Loves: Hanging out with her people! Whether you’re rotting on the couch, jumping in the car for an adventure, or throwing a party, Libby is just thrilled to be a part of the family.

  • Things We're Working On: Libby gets a bit nervous when her family leaves the house, so she’s working on being brave in her crate!

  • Potty Details: If Libby is kept on a consistent routine,  she’s accident-free inside!

Libby is a quiet, loving girl who is so excited to shower her future family with all the affection she has to offer. (Spoiler Alert: It’s a lot!)
