Meet Autumn!
This sweet, small, 10 lb Pomeranian girl came to us from a Puppy Mill. After spending her whole 6 years of life in a cage being used for breeding, Autumn is ready for her next chapter!

Despite her rough start, Autumn is very friendly and social! She LOVES being with her person! This girl does ok with other dogs once she warms up to them, but would also be fine as an only dog. She has met cats and even chickens without issue!

Due to her small size we recommend any children in the home be over 10 years old.

Autumn is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested, microchipped and had a recent dental! She is also crate trained and doing great with house breaking! If you have room on your lap and in your heart, we have no doubt Autumn would be a wonderful companion!

We have monthly events at local pet stores in Columbus and Dayton, and can arrange private meet-and-greets with individual fosters, as needed. Please submit an application to adopt in order to be contacted by one of our adoption coordinators, if you would like to meet one of our dogs.

More about this rescue

Purebred Rescue Organization of Ohio has been rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming companion animals for over twenty years. What started as a small foster-based rescue in Dayton, focused on purebred puppy mill releases and owner surrenders, has grown into a multi-city effort, and now includes the PUPP Prison Dog Training Program and partnerships with shelters across the State of Ohio to help save hundreds of dogs each year. Contrary to our name, we rescue dogs of all breeds, mixes, shapes, and sizes! We provide standard vetting for them while they are in our care - all of our dogs are fixed, heartworm tested, vaccinated, and microchipped before they are placed in adoptive homes.
