My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Georgia May is a 2 year old pure bread Chihuahua that sadly her loving parents are no longer able to care for her due to medical issues.  She will be arriving in Syracuse approximately 11/21, coming from Texas.  Her family said she is a sweet girl, lived with a Shepard who passed at 12.  She is shy, but warms up after a little while.  She doesn't like cats, she tends to chase them.  Older children 10 and up would be best.  She is clingy and loves to cuddle up with her people.  She was kept mostly in doors and uses puppy pads for potty.  They are working on getting her out more in hopes of getting her potty trained outdoors.  She will need leash training as she freezes on a leash.  Georgia May's fee will be $400 which goes towards her vetting, current vaccinations, medical care until adoption, and fostering.

More about this rescue

In 2018 a group of animal lovers got together to form a special animal rescue.

Every year millions of pets are surrendered to animal shelters and ultimately euthanized. In NY state alone thousands of dogs and cats are neglected, abandoned , homeless , and left in shelters. Seven was one of many pets abandoned by the only family he had ever known.

Seventh Heaven Rescue was created to help any animal in need. Our mission is to try to keep dogs out of shelters as well as rescue dogs that have found themselves in shelters. Our goal is to provide them the love , compassion, kindness , dignity and respect as well as medical care they need and deserve.

Our mission is to honor Seven’s memory in the hope that we can help other dogs and any animal in need just like him find loving families. We are strictly a non for profit organization. All donations go directly to those animals in our care.
