My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Justice is an 18 month old boxer mix who weighs about 43 lbs. She is a sweet little mamma who loves two things: people, and tennis balls. She loves getting to play around with her people, whether that be fetch with a tennis ball or tug-o-war, but sometimes she likes to just be able to snuggle up on the couch and watch some TV. She can be hit or miss with other dogs, depending on how well they respond to her excitable nature. Justice would do great in a home with very patient dogs with a high tolerance for silliness, because she loves to romp and jump. She does have a high prey drive so your yard likely will be squirrel and rabbit free. Shes a very goofy girl and an absolute sweetheart looking for a loving home.

Our adoption process takes several steps and cannot be completed in one day. All of our volunteers work full time and assist the rescue in their spare time. Please allow 2-3 business days for a response.

* Applicants must be willing to make a ten plus year commitment to their new family member.

* Applicants must commit to daily exercise, walks, trips to the dog park or play in the back yard. A well exercised dog is a happy well behaved dog!

* Applicants living in a rental property must provide proof of pet policy from landlord.

* Applicants must provide a veterinarian reference and if there are existing dogs in the household. All pets must be spayed/neutered and current on all shots and heartworm medication.

*Please allow at least a 7-14 day adjustment period for your new dog. Rescue dogs go thru a lot of changes and need a few days to get used to their new surroundings and adjust. Adopting a dog should be a serious commitment, so please be willing to work out the kinks. Our dogs aren't perfect but with proper training and guidance they make awesome, loving pets.

*Our adoption fees vary based on the age and medical needs of the dogs.
