My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How this pet arrived:
Autumn was brought in by her previous owner.

Why Autumn might be the one for you:
Autumn is a shy lady who can take some time to adjust to new people and places. Autumn would prefer a quiet home that lets her do things at her pace and comfort level. She may do well with a feline friend to help her build some bravery and to keep her company. With time, love, and treats Autumn reveals her her purr-fect personality! Autumn prefers to spend time nearby her people while doing independent activities. She has recently discovered the windowsill in her foster home and spends lots of time window-watching. If you think Autumn may be what you are looking for, contact us at the information below. It's autumn, so it's the perfect time to bring Autumn home!

At SDHS:
Autumn has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered and is now ready for her new home!

Message for details:

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
