My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

File #24-239Current Foster Location: Stittsville, ON *Please note that we do not typically adopt outside of a 2 hour radius from the foster dogs current location* Hi there, Im Ronald! Listen, Im not just a good boy, Im a great boy! I am housetrained, and my foster mom says I have the most gentle eyes. I'm a bit of a nervous nellie, though, so don't be surprised if you see me disappearing into my cozy crate where I feel safest. Im looking for a forever home with another dog to be my life coach. You see, they teach me things like, Hey Ronald, you wont melt if a human pats you on the head! Cats? Yeah, theyre fine in my book. I think they're plotting world domination, but who am I to judge? Nervous? Absolutely. Aggressive? Never! Even when those tiny humans are around (theyre kind of unpredictable, arent they?). I could be a flight risk when scared a fenced yard would be great or, just keep me close and on a leash until I gain more confidence. A home with another dog may help me come out of my shell a bit more, and they can help teach me not to be such a scaredy cat. I am normally pretty quiet, but I do get loud when I start to play with my dog friends! So, if youre willing to help me go from timid prince of crates to confident ruler of couch cuddles, fill out that adoption application. Ill be over here, practicing my side-eye from the safety of my crate. Please visit our website www.ittakesavillagedogrescue.com to learn more about this amazing dog and to see other available dogs.
