Piper, our adorable 3-year-old ferret, is searching for her forever home! Since coming into our care on April 16th, Piper has captured our hearts. She was brought to Ferret Dreams after ingesting a surprisingly large amount of packing tape and her family was unable to provide the emergency medical attention she needed to survive. She received the expert medical care she needed we're thrilled to report that Piper has recovered and is ready for adoption!
This lively little girl has a zest for life and adores playing with other ferrets. She thrives with playmates of similar age and energy, and it’s essential to keep her stimulated and entertained. For this reason, we are looking for experienced ferret owners who can provide her with the attention and activity she deserves.
Piper has been around older children and has shown that she can fit in well with them. However, she’s had some rough interactions with cats in her past, so we’d recommend a cat-free environment for her comfort. Ideally, she would love a laid-back male companion who is of similar age or a bit older. Energetic ferrets may overwhelm her, so a calm playmate would help her flourish. We're open to adopting her to families with or without a companion, as she has her unique preferences.
While Piper has been diagnosed with adrenal disease, don’t let that deter you! She’s responding beautifully to her new annual hormonal implant, and this condition is manageable. Plus, rest assured that our medical plan will cover her care related to this condition for life.
All our ferrets, including Piper, have been neutered (spayed/castrated) and descented. They received their vaccinations for rabies and distemper as babies, although we cannot guarantee any continued vaccinations after that.
Piper’s adoption fee is $300, and she is more than ready to find a loving home where she can play, thrive, and become part of your family. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful ferret with a big heart, Piper is the one for you! Don't miss the chance to welcome this sweet girl into your life.

Our Mile High Ferret Club is an excellent opportunity to interact with the local ferret community. The monthly gatherings encourage ferret owners to bring their healthy and non-aggressive ferrets to play and socialize with others. These events also act as fundraisers to benefit the rescue. More details can be found on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/milehighferretclub.
