My name is Gil!

🐾 Hi there! I’m Gil! 🐾
I’m a 4-year-old female Jindo mix with a sleek black coat. Weighing in at 11 kg, I’m a smart and affectionate pup looking for my forever home! 🐶
My Story: I was rescued from an abandoned farm, and now I’m ready to find a loving family. I’ve got plenty of walking experience and follow people well without pulling on the leash. 🚶‍♀️
My Personality:
• I’m a bit shy at first, but give me a snack and I’ll quickly warm up to you, allowing you to touch me. 🍪
• You can lift me up by putting your arm under my belly. I don’t mind at all! 🐾
• Once I get to know you, I’ll show you my belly for some rubs. 🥰
• I like to greet other dogs, but I don’t always play with them. 🐕
• I’m a bit scared of dogs that are bigger than me, but I’m friendly with dogs my size or smaller. 🐾
• High-energy dogs can be a bit overwhelming for me. 🐕‍🦺
• I might fight back if provoked, especially when toys or snacks are involved, so it’s best to introduce me to new dogs slowly. 🐶
• Even when I see a cat during a walk, I tend to focus only on my human. 🐱
• I enjoy outdoor activities but also love to rest quietly afterward. 🌳
• I don’t guard my food against people, but I might growl if another dog approaches me while I’m eating. 🥣
• I’m a quiet girl and hardly ever bark. 🐾
• I’m calm when put in a kennel. 🏠
• I generally only do my business outside. 🚽
Fun Fact: I’m very smart and affectionate. I learned “hands” right away! I can be a bit sassy, but I get along well with other dogs. I’m very curious and love to approach other dogs and smell them. I also love toys and might even climb on top of other dogs and hump. 🦴
