My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lulu, a delightful 3 ½-year-old Shih Tzu and Miniature Poodle mix (also known as a ShiPoo), who weighs in at a perfect 13 pounds of pure joy! With her soft, curly coat and sparkling eyes, Lulu is a real showstopper—her sweet and playful personality only adds to her charm. This little lady has a heart as big as her love for life, and she’s ready to bring her sunshine into your home!

Lulu is a friendly, social dog who gets along well with other dogs, making her an excellent companion for furry siblings. She’s also an absolute toy enthusiast! Lulu loves to play, and squeaky balls are her absolute favorite. Watching her pounce and chase after toys will undoubtedly bring a smile to your face. But as much as she loves to play, Lulu is equally fond of snuggling up with her humans. She’ll happily curl up beside you on the couch or nestle in bed at night, content to be close to those she loves. If you’re looking for a cuddle buddy, Lulu is your girl!

Lulu’s playful energy is matched by her gentle and affectionate nature. She’s a loving little companion who thrives on human interaction and attention. Whether you’re sitting down to relax or out enjoying a walk, Lulu is happiest when she’s by your side, always ready to share a moment of affection. She’s a loyal friend who’s sure to bring joy and comfort to your life.

Lulu’s journey to rescue wasn’t an easy one. She came into our care as a local owner surrender. Her previous owner, unfortunately, was homeless, and as winter approached, the cold temperatures made it unsafe for Lulu to continue living in a car. Thankfully, she’s now safe, warm, and ready to find her forever family. Despite her difficult past, Lulu has remained loving and trusting, and she’s eager to start a new chapter in a caring, stable home.

This sweet girl would do well in a home where she can receive lots of attention, affection, and playtime. Whether you’re looking for a playmate for other pets or just want a cuddly companion to keep you company, Lulu is sure to fit right in. She’s a small dog with a big heart, and she’s looking for a family who can provide her with the love and stability she deserves.

Lulu is house trained, spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, and microchipped.
