Meet Manchita!

This sweetheart is a catch! She is around 6-7 months old and about 8 lbs. She may gain a few more pounds but will remain small.

Sweet Manchita did not have the greatest start in life - she lives outdoors 24/7. She is now happy in a foster home and enjoying all the love. We would love to see her in a home with kids over 8 and ideally with another dog.

From her foster mom:

"She’s very affectionate. She behaves well with my other dog - not aggressive with food, initiates play. She is not a barker. If I was in the market for another dog, I’d snatch her up!"

Manchita is vaccinated, spayed and chipped. Her adoption fee is $525

We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495. Thank you for stepping up to save a life!

1.
Submit Application

Please submit an application via our website for the dog you are interested in.

2.
Meet the Pet

Once we receive your application we will arrange a meet and greet for you with the dog in their foster home.

3.
Take the Pet Home

After the meet and greet, if all goes well, we offer a two week trial adoption to ensure the dog is indeed a good match for you.

Additional adoption info

All applicants have a two-week trial adoption period. If the trial adoption is successful, a final adoption contract is signed.

Saving Great Animals is a match-making rescue. All of our dogs are in foster homes and we work with you to help you find your best match. All of our dogs are vaccinated, chipped and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. All applicants have the opportunity to do a two-week trial adoption to ensure the dog is the right match for you. We are passionate about our work and transparent with you so that you find the dog that will be the love of your life.
