Maverick has lived with another dog and a cat before but is selective with the dogs that he enjoys interacting with. We have seen some reactive behaviour towards other dogs but with proper introductions and a well matched dog, he may do well having a few canine friends. We aren't sure how he would do with cats, so a slow introduction would be important if you have feline friends.
Even though he can been known to take a solid couch nap, this guy loves to go go go! He is very energetic and playful so is looking for a home who can provide him with daily walks and space to do his zoomies. He can also show jumpy behaviour as he just wants to greet you right up close so a home with no small children would be ideal. He has also shown us that he can easily clear a six foot fence!!
Please come into the shelter during visiting hours if you would like to meet me. You can also submit an application online if I am in foster or you would like to save some time when you come visit. While we do welcome online applications, in person meets have top priority.
