My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Aloha! I'm Barnacle & I'm about 10 weeks old! My foster mom says, "

Barnacle is a charming little bundle of love and energy, ready to bring joy to his forever family. At approximately 10 weeks old, he’s full of life and curiosity, with a sweet, playful nature that will warm your heart. Barnacle is already litterbox trained, listens well, and is smart as a whip. He’s quick to pick up on routines, making him an easy addition to any home!

Barnacle loves to explore, cuddle, and occasionally nibble as he plays, so he’ll thrive in a high-energy, loving environment. Whether you have other pets or simply have time to play, Barnacle will happily bring laughter and affection into your life. He’s neutered, vaccinated, and all set for his new adventure!"

More about this shelter

The Oahu SPCA was founded in April of 2009 and launched its mission, "Every healthy, treatable animal will find a forever home." The overwhelming support of community members was instrumental in helping to establish the first animal shelter in the state of Hawaii with a "no-kill philosophy." On July 18, 2009, 432 animals were relinquished to the Oahu SPCA the Largest Animal Rescue in the history of Hawaii. The Oahu SPCA rescued all 432 animals in 48 hours after the owner of an animal sanctuary in Waianae passes away.
