My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Thank you Pedigree Foundation for sponsoring my training scholarship with HHHS!
I have a sponsor buddy! My fee has been waived!

Meet Brynn!! Brynn is currently living her best life in a wonderful foster home. She has learned so many skills:

Brynn is crate trained & loves her kennel
She is great with other dogs & does require the adopter to have a friendly, playful dog in the home
She knows basic commands and is whistle trained for recall
Brynn loves her dog bed & is treat motivated
She goes to the back door when needing to potty and enjoys agility activities

Brynn can be pretty fearful of new people but once she is familiar and has been given time to adjust, she is loving and affectionate.

Brynn's foster will be part of any meet & greet to help you learn all about this sweet girl!

More about this shelter

HHHS has been a permanent part of the Topeka community since its founding May 4, 1938. The organization is incorporated as a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) business for the purpose of sheltering companion animals in need of care, advocating for anti-cruelty protection of animals and promoting humane education and animal welfare issues. HHHS fosters the adoption of companion animals into responsible homes and reunites lost animals with their owners; promotes sterilization of animals to help reduce overpopulation; provides a facility accessible to the general public; serves the community with educational programs addressing animal welfare issues; and maintains a fiscally responsible organization.
