My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Thank you, Calhoun's Jewelers, for sponsoring a portion of my adoption fee!

Meet Haven, a youthful spirit brimming with sweetness and friendliness. She's a little shy at first, but once she warms up, her playful and energetic nature shines through. She can turn any mundane day into a fun-filled adventure with her playful antics. Her favorite pastime? Well, that would be treat time! Haven would do just about anything for a treat. She's a quick learner, and her love for treats makes her a joy to train. Haven's friendly demeanor and lively spirit, she would make a great addition to any home. She is not just a pet, she's a companion who's sure to bring joy and laughter into your life. Adopt Haven and let her sweet, playful energy fill your home with happiness.

Pedigree Foundation has sponsored a training scholarship for me to attend free classes at Helping Hands!

More about this shelter

HHHS has been a permanent part of the Topeka community since its founding May 4, 1938. The organization is incorporated as a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) business for the purpose of sheltering companion animals in need of care, advocating for anti-cruelty protection of animals and promoting humane education and animal welfare issues. HHHS fosters the adoption of companion animals into responsible homes and reunites lost animals with their owners; promotes sterilization of animals to help reduce overpopulation; provides a facility accessible to the general public; serves the community with educational programs addressing animal welfare issues; and maintains a fiscally responsible organization.
