Magic is a 4 month old female weighing about 5 lb. She currently is being fostered in Ontario. She is said to be a chihuahua cross. She's up to date on all shots she is good with adults dogs and cats. Because of her current size she will be best in a family with older and dog savvy children. She will do her business on pee pads and right now in her foster home she is working on going outside. Crate training is a work in progress. She's learning to do stairs and getting better with her leash manners. Because she is a puppy she has bursts of energy followed by lots of napping. Right now she sleeps in bed with her foster family. She is learning to travel well in the car. Because she is still learning to like her crate she is Barky when you put her in it. She appears to be pretty smart as she has been observed to stop when we tell her “no”. Puppy 101 training is strongly recommended.
Anecdote from the foster “Magic is so cuddly, loves to snuggle in at night for sleeping. Loves to play with my chihuahua Roxy – Magic takes the rough house like a champ from Roxy – always chasing Roxy around for some more play. My cat may swipe at Magic so Magic just ignores my cat but will still try later in the day to be friends. My daughters cat Mowgli chased Magic around so she was good with Mowgile. Definitely will be fine with any cat. I can tell that Magic is going to be a wonderful member of family – full of love and play.
