Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Slick is singlehandedly the best part of every day. Seeing her as she butt wiggles & tail wags towards me, always bearing those big blue puppy dog eyes, I can't help but be in love with her! I know you will be too! Sweet Doll is about 1 year old, and weighs in around 30. Slick came in to us as a stray on the streets of Texas; after having been on the run a few weeks. So while Slick is shy with strangers, her love makes her initial shyness BEYOND rewarding. Slick does wonderfully with other dogs, big, small, and even cats! Honestly, if you're looking for the love, companionship, and connection in ANY dog, Slick is PERFECT! She is seemingly house-broken, crate-trained, AND knows basic commands. She adores being loved on, and loving in return, and is more that Type B personality for a beagle, where she's more dependent on love than the typical!

We are a non-profit organization out of Monticello, IA specializing in the care for dogs and cats that need us. Our care does not stay local, as we take transports from all over the United States, and adopt all over as well!

Our mission's primary focus is to help reduce the homeless pet population by finding homes for spayed/neutered pets, and helping educate WHY this process is so important, and the proper way to care for pets!
