Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lilo the baby girl! At just about 5 months old, weighing in at a measly 3 pounds; she's full of love, life, and a huge personality! Despite being so small, Lilo finds her best friends within ANY size dog, cat, or kid! It may just be her appetite for some adventure! Or it could be because when she's able to cuddle up close, they keep her nice and warm. With mention to cuddles, Lilo is a true cuddle bug, whether she has the chance to leap into your lap, into the crook of your arm, or just down near your feet, she is a truly loyal little girl. Anytime she's given time in the lobby, you'll always catch her within someone's trail, taking a nap, or sitting up, eagerly awaiting her next interaction with people, kids, dogs, or cats. What I personally love most about Lilo is her ability to learn, and so incredibly quick. She has her simple commands down, while she always tends to respond with much more enthusiasm when there's treats nearby, she has yet to let us down! Lilo seems to be completely house-broken, using her crate-training over night, and during work hours, and is a one of a kind pup. Open to just about any home that enjoys spending their time with a canine companion! She is the cutest thing ever, as I wandered around searching for her to take her pictures, I found her in a little blanket nook taking a nap.

More about this shelter
We are a non-profit organization out of Monticello, IA specializing in the care for dogs and cats that need us. Our care does not stay local, as we take transports from all over the United States, and adopt all over as well!
Our mission's primary focus is to help reduce the homeless pet population by finding homes for spayed/neutered pets, and helping educate WHY this process is so important, and the proper way to care for pets!
