Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bubba the boy! The handsomest man around town, sporting the big floppy ears and ADORABLE big brown eyes! You may be able to tell, one of Bubba's favorite things to do is getting as close as possible to ANY person, he's a certified lover boy! I am right on the money in saying Bubba will make the PERFECT family dog. When he isn't enjoying his favorite parts of every day, (hanging out with people, and getting loved on incessantly!) He can typically be found snoring away on a doggy bed, or gnawing on a beloved bone! But when it comes down to playtime, Bubba, at his younger age of just over 1 year old, is all in! He enjoys romping the dog yard with other dogs of all shapes and sizes, and sharing the wonderful game of fetch (no retrieve unless it's got to do with strutting about, then he's all in) with all of them! We know Bubba will do amazingly in just about any home due to his amazing temperament, his LOVE for stuffy toys that will keep ANY person happy to supply him with more, AND because he's essentially already gotten the basics down! What could be better than an already crate-trained, gentle, basic command knowing, good on a leash pooch to be the one you adopt into your home? Let alone one that is 100% willing to keep himself occupied while you're away at work, or out at the shops! Toss this guy a bone, and he's the happiest 30 pound camper you'll ever see!

More about this shelter
We are a non-profit organization out of Monticello, IA specializing in the care for dogs and cats that need us. Our care does not stay local, as we take transports from all over the United States, and adopt all over as well!
Our mission's primary focus is to help reduce the homeless pet population by finding homes for spayed/neutered pets, and helping educate WHY this process is so important, and the proper way to care for pets!
