My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jellybean-boy! Sweet as honey, and a tiny little baby on stilts! This guy KNOWS how to use his puppy-dog eyes, and he utilizes them anytime he's gotten caught in some trouble, orrrr just being a little mischievous! Jelly Bean has that lovable, witty personality that gets EVERYONE to fall in love, paired by his wiggle butt and wagging his tail; he's a heart melter. Jelly Bean also gets along amazingly with other dogs, and he does a quality job of keeping the BIG dogs in line! We can't help but love him for it! We think Jelly Bean will do amazingly in most homes, due to his go-with-the-flow attitude, and cuddlability rating being OFF THE CHARTS! Did I mention he's currently working on all of the basics? At about 3 months old, and 3 pounds - he is absolutely sure to fill your heart!

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit organization out of Monticello, IA specializing in the care for dogs and cats that need us. Our care does not stay local, as we take transports from all over the United States, and adopt all over as well!

Our mission's primary focus is to help reduce the homeless pet population by finding homes for spayed/neutered pets, and helping educate WHY this process is so important, and the proper way to care for pets!
