My name is Remmy and I'm a big, gorgeous feline who is fe-line fine and ready to make my way back to a loving home. I enjoy meeting new people who give me lots of ear scratches and I'll likely flop down and roll around with gusto! I'm not shy when it comes to conversation and will happily tell you about my day while you tell me about yours. My current hobbies are chirping at birds and chasing sunshine patches but I aspire to be your friendly, furry overlord. I do have an independent streak and I still enjoy playing with a wand toy or fuzzy mouse when the mood takes me. Come meet me at Woods in Atascadero and I'll see you soon.

Founded in 1955, Woods Humane Society is a nonprofit organization which receives no tax funds, but is supported by donations, grants, bequests, fundraising events and fees for services. Woods is independent of San Luis Obispo County Animal Services, but works in close cooperation with them and other animal groups in the county for the welfare of all animals.

Woods now cares for over 3,000 cats and dogs each year at our facilities in San Luis Obispo and Atascadero until they can be united with loving forever families. We bring in animals from other shelters where they are less likely to be adopted and from individuals who are no longer able to care for their pets. Woods is committed to finding loving homes for all healthy and treatable pets, no matter how long it takes. With our behavior and veterinary resources, we are able to go the extra mile for animals in need.
