Pumba loves to snuggle up on the couch, watch TV, and be the center of attention. He’s a total lap dog at heart and will happily curl up next to you for a long nap or enjoy some gentle pets. Though he has a relaxed vibe, Pumba still enjoys a good romp in the yard - just enough to keep him active and happy.
While Pumba is social and friendly, he’s a bit on the calm side and would thrive in a quieter home where he can soak up all the love and attention he deserves. He gets along well with other dogs, especially those who share his easygoing nature, and he’s good with older children who understand his laid-back personality.
Pumba is house-trained, knows his basic commands, and is ready to settle into a forever home where he can enjoy his best years. He’s a low-maintenance guy who just needs love, comfy beds, and a few tasty treats to make his day.
Due to poor breeding practices, Pumba had some abnormal vertebrae (called hemivertebra) and a luxating patella that occasionally cause him discomfort. His veterinarian has prescribed him pain medications to give as needed, and we hope to find him a frenchy-savvy home that is familiar with these common breed ailments.
Pumba has been neutered, had his palate resected, and had his nares widened. He is microchipped, heartworm tested, and UTD on vaccines. He will come with 30 days of pet insurance, and 6 months of heartworm prevention.
