Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

The first step to adopt is to stop by our adoption center during open hours!

2.

Meet the Pet

The second step is to meet with pets you might be interested in adopting! Our staff and volunteers will tell you all about them.

3.

Submit Application

Finally, fill out the adoption questionnaire. Our experienced adoption counselors will ensure it's a good fit for you and the pet!

4.

Take the Pet Home

If the adoption is a good fit, you get to take the pet home that day!

***Please Note: The "Apply Online" button to the right of the pet does not take you to the adoption questionnaire. Please follow the steps listed above and below to adopt this pet!


To adopt pets located at our adoption center, you must stop by during open adoption hours to start the process.

To adopt pets located at our partnering PetSmart stores, you must first visit the pet at the specific PetSmart store to start the process.

To adopt pets located in foster care, you must first submit an Anti-Cruelty Questionnaire (found on our website) to start the process.

To adopt pets located in our Home-to-Home Program, you must first contact the owner of the pet via the contact information provided in the pet's bio to start the process.


Adoption Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older for standard adoptions. Must have valid ID

Adoption fees are based on an animal's age and species.

Each adoption Includes:
1. Complete veterinary exam
2. Inoculations against rabies and other diseases
3. Heartworm test for dogs /Feline leukemia test for cats
4. Spaying or neutering (it's mandatory)
5. Collar
6. Lifetime ID tag
7. Permanent identification microchip
8. Dog leash or cat carrier
9. One month of free pet insurance for this important transitional period.
