EMERGENCY PLACEMENT DEADLINE 5PM 11/12/24 Due to Veterans Day on 11/11/24, PACC is closed, deadlines are adjusted accordingly Name: Rosalynda Animal ID: A852648 Age: 1 year Weight: 48 lbs. About: Rosalynda is a bouncy one-year-old black and white pup who has not had an easy start to life. Living in a chaotic environment with a pack of dogs that frequently escaped and roamed the neighborhood, she was involved in incidents where other dogs were injured, one fatally. Additionally, at least one person was bitten by a black and white dog that may have been Rosalynda (but could have been another dog from her pack). However, it’s important to note that pack- driven behavior is not indicative of an individual dog’s personality or behavior. Rosalynda is very young and has all the makings of a wonderful companion. She warms up quickly to new people and would love to have a family of her own that will keep her safe and secure. When meeting other dogs in playgroup Rosalynda has been playful and easygoing, with staff noting that she is a sweet puppy and a very good girl. She can be reactive to other dogs when on leash, so will need training from her future family to help this behavior. Rosalynda will thrive with a patient and understanding family who can provide her with a secure environment and plenty of love and attention. A home with a securely fenced yard is essential to prevent her from wandering. Consistent training and socialization will help her overcome her fears and become a confident and well-behaved dog. Please ask how you can help Rosalynda!! Available for long term foster care 30+ days or adoption through PACC. Adoption Process: Interested parties:
• Must visit PACC before the 5:00 PM November 12, 2024, deadline to meet with an adoption or foster counselor who will go over notes and then introduce you to ensure that it’s a good fit.
