My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What my friends at ACC say about me:

Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy!

I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace.

I'm shy. I'll need extra help from you.

A volunteer writes: During my shift I approached Casita Cat's kennel... she looked a bit scared in her cubby, so I figured my visit would not be too eventful and I would only be able to snap a quick picture. She proved me wrong! After a few minutes of me talking to her and her not seeming interested, I went to close her cubby door... she rose up and strode to the front.... clearly she was playing hard to get until I decided to leave. Sweet Casita Cat leaned into my hand accepting neck, and chin scratches. I ended up spending much more time with her than anticipated... No complaints from me! She is an absolutely sweet girl and I think she needs someone who will give her time to warm up on her terms. From our short time together, she came out of her shell quickly with just a little bit of patience.
