My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Chica!

Chica was brought to South LA Shelter to be surrendered. Because nearly every shelter is at capacity, many are giving guardians the tools to list their pets for adoption from home, or asking them to schedule a surrender appointment when a kennel opens up.

This is what happened with Chica, but instead, her guardian tied her to a fence around the corner and fled. The shelter was forced to impound Chica as a stray when they didn't have any room. Fortunately, we were able to rescue Chica on November 6th, the day she was scheduled to be euthanized.

Chica is 8 years old and weighs 36 lbs. She is a very sweet itty-bitty-pittie and looks so pretty in her new collar with shiny new tags. Chica is such a snuggly love bug.

Chica is good with other dogs, and she passed her cat test, too!

Drop by to meet this precious girl between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM!
