My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Chessie! This stunning young brindle beauty, not yet a year old, is looking for her perfect match to start 2025 with endless adventures! With her athletic build and expressive eyes, Chessie is the kind of dog who makes an impression - and once you get to know her, you'll discover her heart is as beautiful as her striking coat.

Chessie is the definition of a loyal companion who lives for quality time with her people. Whether she's joining you for a car ride (her absolute favorite!), exploring new places, or showing off how attentive she is during training sessions, this energetic girl puts her whole heart into everything she does. Her friendly, outgoing personality makes her a natural social butterfly when it comes to meeting new people, and she forms deep bonds with those she loves.

Already crate trained and with all the enthusiasm of youth, this smart girl is eager to learn and grow with you. At less than a year old, Chessie would thrive in an active home that can match her energy and enthusiasm for life. She'd make an ideal companion for a family with children over 5 years old (her excitement sometimes makes her forget her size when greeting smaller kids!), and she gets along wonderfully with larger dogs who can keep up with her playful spirit.

Like many confident dogs, Chessie knows exactly what she wants in life - and what she doesn't! She prefers to be the smaller pup in any canine friendship, so homes with smaller dogs wouldn't be a good fit. Due to her interest in chasing fast-moving creatures, she needs a home without chickens or cats, where she can focus her energy on being your devoted companion instead.

Are you looking for a loyal, loving partner who'll be up for any adventure? Do you have the active lifestyle and secure yard where this enthusiastic girl can thrive? Chessie might be your perfect match! She's ready to start 2025 by becoming the best friend you've been dreaming of - the kind who'll greet each morning with a wagging tail, share every adventure with unbridled joy, and end each day reminding you why dog really is man's best friend. Could you be the lucky person to give this devoted girl her forever best-friend status?

Go meet their pets

We do not have a shelter. Our pets are being cared for in foster homes. We allow prospective adopters to meet the pet by appointment after we have approved the home to adopt and feel that we have a good match.
