Name:  Sunshine      Best Guess for Breed:  Beagle mix

Best Guess for Age:  10 months as of November 2024     SEX:   Female

Approximate Weight:  22 lbs as of October 2024; might have just a bit more to grow

Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen her with kids or cats but she can be tested if you have them. 

Currently Living at:   Rural shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get her freedom ride here on Saturday 11/9

Sunshine is Looking For:  Her forever family! She's got all that awesome young-dog energy and is eaher to have her own humans for sniffy walks (that beagle nose!), romps in parks, and all the adventures they can dream up. Plus cuddles. Definitely lots of cuddles. This is what shelter staff said about her: 'Sunshine is an absolute doll! This beautiful beagle loves attention from people and will crawl into your lap. Perfect timing since chilly weather is on the way! She and her bff pup play well with other dogs.  Sunshine is true to her name with her great happy temperament. She is playful with a fun and manageable energy level. '
