My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Harmony has been at MAS for almost a month, and she is not handling the stress well. She is very barrier reactive jumping, growling, and leaping at the kennel bars. We believe Harmony would do best in an adult-only home (no kids) at this time so that she can recover from the stress of being at the shelter and the mistreatment that led to her coming to MAS.

On 12/7/24 Harmony met a couple other dogs. She was timid coming out of her kennel and pancaked down once outside. I easily carried her outside. Once outside, she was friendly and social and absolutely loved pets and love with her cute little wiggle butt. She tolerated other dogs well enough, but gave good corrections when needed. She was much more interested in people than the other dogs. Very sweet girl. Removing rescue only attribute and adult only home attribute as her behavior appears within normal range. Video uploaded.

Additional adoption info

Our standard adoption fee is $75 for dogs and $70 for cats. This includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, heartworm test (and treatment medication if needed) for dogs, FeLV test for cats, collar, leash for dogs, and a customized ID tag.

All adoptions must be completed in-person and require a driver's license and payment in the form of cash or a credit/debit card. MAS does not accept checks for adoption fees.
