My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Apply for cats at www.carmah.org
All cats are first come first serve; sorry, we cannot reserve cats.

I'm Trudy, an easygoing and very sweet kitty who just wants to be near you. I love to be petted. Let me sit on your lap and I'll wiggle around for a while in pure joy, then settle in for a long nap. You can pick me up (you need to support me) and you won't hear any objection from me! I also love to be brushed.

I have an old leg injury that didn't heal properly, so I walk with a limp but I am not in pain. On the other hand, please be gentle with me. I need single floor housing and a safe way (a ramp, maybe) to join you on the couch or on your bed. And while I can live with other cats, I cannot be placed in a household where I might be chased, even in fun. So other couch potato cats, completely indifferent dogs, and older respectful children only, please.

I am 6 years old and in great health. Looking for a loving lap cat like me?

Kittens under six months must have a cat buddy.

More about this rescue

Our all-volunteer feline rescue group is non-profit and no-kill. We have served the Metrowest area of MA since 2002. We care for many of our cats in foster homes and often show cats at the Hudson MA Petsmart. For cats that cannot be placed in homes, we have an active TNR program - Trap-Neuter-Release - and a barn placement program for working cats.
We welcome new volunteers and donations! See our website, https://www.carmah.org/ for more information.
