My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Grammy! She and her siblings were rescued at 6 months of age in a Trap-Neuter-Return project. They were older kittens, and due to be released as they were not used to people, but we wanted to take a chance on them.

Grammy, is a now fourteen month old tortoiseshell beauty, is sweet-as-can-be. While she takes a moment to warm up, a churu or a wand toy will draw her silly personality right out. She loves scratches and pets, proudly showing off her elevator-butt or flopping over and rolling on her back. Grammy is happy to be independent, as long as she has access to a comfy spot to sleep. Grammy is equal parts cat’s cat and lover girl, and she can’t wait to find her forever home.

She would thrive in a home with other cats, and is available to adopt alongside her twin sister Emmy or her brother Oscar (see separate listings!). Their sister Tony got adopted already otherwise you could have had a full EGOT! They are all so excited to find their forever homes!

Grammy is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, treated for parasites, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. If you're interested in meeting this beautiful girl, fill out an application at www.brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms and designate DanaH as the rescuer. Contact dana@brooklynanimalaction.org with questions.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Interested adopters first fill out an adoption application, after which they can visit our animals in their foster homes. If they would like to adopt and their application is approved, they then complete an adoption contract. We also ask for an adoption fee to help us continue our work.
