My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Carol! This litter of kittens and mama Carol was trapped by Heartland's staff at an auto body repair shop. This long-hair beautiful mom is incredibly intelligent. She took good care of her kittens when they were little without being defensive or aggressive with people. She LOVES people. She greets us every morning with sweet meows and comes to get pets. Carol has a lovely serene nature. She will make an ideal family cat.
When we trapped Carol, she was so happy that we were feeding her babies that she started nuzzling her face all over us. She was looking for any way to thank us. Now she is relaxing in her foster home and enjoying more space outside of a cage.
Carol is currently staying in a lovely foster home while they wait for our shelter to rebuild. Email cats@heartlandanimalshelter.org to set up a time to meet them! Carol's up to date on FVRCP and Rabies vaccines, spayed and negative for FIV/FeLV.
