Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Adoption Fee: $460, plus taxes
Location: Foster Home
Teddy is good natured and seems to get along well with people and other dogs. He is 5 1/2 years old. He is definitely a Velcro dog. He walks fine on his leash. Not tested around cats or small children.
Teddy Bear is about 5 years old, he is neutered, microchipped, and up to date with his vaccinations.
Teddy Bear is currently available for adoption pending his dental procedure and one mass removal (on his knee). We would love to find Teddy's forever home while he waits for his dental procedure to be scheduled. The procedure will be covered by CSHS We cannot guarantee an exact surgery date as they are subject to change. Surgery dates are also determined based on the animal's health/weight.

While we are a foster-based animal rescue and all of our dogs are in foster care, we do have a cat adoption space at our new Adoption & Wellness Center in Chaska. We also partner with local retail locations like PetSmart Richfield and Chuck & Don's Chanhassen to feature adoptable cats at their stores.

More about this rescue
Carver-Scott Humane Society was founded in 1989 with the mission of connecting animals in need with people who care. Our vision is a world where every animal is safe, cared for, and loved.
In 2017, we introduced a new, innovative rescue philosophy based on our Four Pillars: TNR, Serve Where You Save, FurKeeps, and Adopters Welcome. As of 2018, we adopt over 500 dogs and cats into the community every year, with a nationally reported Live Release Rate of 97%. We serve over 1,000 Minnesota pets and their families annually through our surrender prevention program, FurKeeps, aiming to keep pets out of the shelter system in the first place.
CSHS focuses on serving and saving Minnesota pets, and we do not transport animals in from out of state. We do our best to prevent surrender, which creates capacity for us to transfer most of our animals from high-volume impounds and shelters throughout the state. For the past three years, we have transferred more animals from Minneapolis Animal Care & Control than any other animal welfare organization.
