Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Location: Lexington, SC
Name: Lizzie
Age: ~5 years
Breed: DSH - Solid White
M/F: F
Spayed/Neutered/Shots: spayed; UTD on rabies, fvrcp, and flea prevention
Good with dogs, cats, and/or kids: good with all humans she has met; fine coexisting with other animals but don’t think she will necessarily become BFFs with anyone (but she is still adjusting here too so hard to definitively say)
Aggression or medical issues?: no known aggression. For medical: major “wound” on ear upon intake so during spay we asked the vet to remove all of that from the ear in fear it was skin cancer just to be safe since she is a solid white cat (very common) that was found outside and it is still healing since so much was removed. Vet also noted her tissues inside looked “extra friable” so they suggested bloodwork to be safe (but also indicated she had clearly had a ton of litters in the past so this could simply be related to this). We have not yet done bloodwork due to funding as it isn’t an urgent need, but are planning to as soon as we can (or leaving this for adoptee to do - no reason for us to hold if adoptee is fine committing to this). No external indication (or internal notes from vet) of anything else of concern.
Reason for rehoming?: found super friendly stray that clearly recently had a collar on & had been flea treated frequently; but we could not find owners
Additional info/story (personality):
Super sweet. No problems being held for hours on end. When she is unhappy about something, she will do a light growl with her mouth closed to tell whoever/whatever she isn’t a fan of that and that’s about it. Loves pets and really loves her food. Needs to be INSIDE ONLY since she is solid white.
Message/comment if interested. Make sure if you message me to include the animal’s name since I have a lot of rescues I am trying to help rehome at the moment. Adoption application & contract required to ensure good home and remaining vetting is completed (bloodwork).

We are foster based only at this time.
Meet and greets for dogs must be scheduled in advance.
Meet and greets for cats are near impossible normally because we all foster/house both cats and dogs and the dogs "go off" when visitors come over making all the cats hide.

More about this rescue
In service of domestic animals in South Carolina, Frisky Business Rescue is a no-kill rescue that provides vital resources such as veterinary care, birthing assistance, medication, and rehoming or safe release (TNR) to the most vulnerable animals in the region. We specialize in animals with special circumstances that come from various backgrounds, including animal hoarding and abusive situations but primarily focus on vulnerable kittens, puppies, and pregnant/nursing dogs and cats. Before rehoming, we carefully screen new potential families to ensure the needs of our animals are met and that new homes will become furever homes.
