My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Baby Brown Cow, but my foster calls me Baby Brownie and I LOVE cuddles! I haven’t lived in a house very long, so I’m still learning my manners, but I respond very well to re-direction and training!  I already know “sit” and “down” (for when I hop up on a couch or bed and need to be off).  I do really well in a crate for about 6-8 hours and I get super excited for walks!  I’ve only pottied in the house two times (in two weeks) - I mostly know to go outside if I’m let out frequently or in my crate. I’m still learning how to not tug on the leash and not to chew things I shouldn’t- after all, I’m only a pup! I do fantastic with children and other dogs. My foster was told that I also do well with cats, but she hasn’t seen that for sure!  I’d be a great addition to your family- come love on me soon!

Additional adoption info

Adoption Process
We have an open adoption policy, so there is no application or interview process. We simply ask that you meet the pet in person before adoption. We have adoption specialists that will help you find the right pet for your family.

Adoption Center
The Adoption Center is located at 7500 N. Western Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73116. Our Adoption Center is a totally new concept in Oklahoma City where dogs have comfortable, expanded kennels and cats stay in “living rooms” with furniture and toys.

Pets by Appointment
Some amazing dogs get stressed out in a kennel environment like our Adoption Center, and much prefer staying at their foster home until they find their new family. If you see a dog on our website that says “E-Mail to Meet Me” that means that this furry friend is just a click away from getting a ride to the Adoption Center to meet you in person.

Adoption Fees
Adult dogs are $150 to adopt, puppies are $200 to adopt, adult cats are $75 to adopt and kittens are $95 to adopt. All of our pets are microchipped, spayed or neutered, treated with all age-appropriate vaccinations and flea, tick, and heartworm preventative prior to being cleared for adoption, so we put a lot of effort and monetary investment into each of our animals including a two-week quarantine period in a foster home. These adoption fees help cover the costs of our animals’ health and well-being!
