Meet Andy Nyman, a charming 2-year-old terrier mix who’s ready to steal your heart! Weighing in at 23 lbs, Andy is a perfect bundle of love, playfulness, and smarts. He’s house-trained and crate-trained, and he picks up on new commands quickly—this little guy loves to learn!

Andy is still adjusting to city life, but with a little structure and routine, he’s flourishing. He’s a true lovebug who enjoys being the center of attention and is always ready for a game of fetch or a cuddle session. Andy is also friendly with other dogs and loves to say hi to everyone he meets. If you're looking for an affectionate, playful, and social companion, Andy will be your perfect match!

Fill out our adoption application at heartsandbonesrescue.org and our adoption team will be in touch about next steps within a few days.

Meet the Pet

The best way to meet our pups is via private meetings or at adoption events. We host these weekly at various locations around NYC.

Sign Adoption Contract

Our adoption fee ranges from $275-$550 and covers the costs of vetting, boarding, transportation, and other necessary items for our dogs.

Hearts & Bones Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foster-based rescue with dual bases in New York City, NY and Dallas, TX. We are dedicated to ending the needless euthanasia of shelter dogs through direct lifesaving, shared learning, and community building. Our incredible network of rescue partners, fosters, volunteers, and a small but mighty staff work together to save dogs in the areas where shelters are under the greatest stress, and unite them with loving adopters ready to give them the lives they deserve.
