Avita is a spirited girl with a heart full of potential, looking for a patient and loving home to help her shine. As a Level 2 Special Adoption, she comes with a unique backstory. Rescued as a stray, Avita is eager to find her forever family, but she needs a bit of extra guidance along the way. Avita is a bundle of energy! Her playful personality is evident in her enthusiasm for life, which sometimes translates into high arousal behaviors like jumping and nipping during play. While she’s still learning how to channel her excitement appropriately, our dedicated behavior team has been working with her to help her manage these impulses. With continued training and structure, Avita is sure to blossom into a well-mannered companion. This sweet girl has shown a curious side, though she can be a bit shy around new experiences and environments. She thrives with familiar faces and would benefit from a calm, understanding household where she can build her confidence. Avita is a quick learner and has already made strides in her training, particularly on walks where she demonstrates improved self-control. Avita is looking for adopters who are committed to her ongoing journey of growth. She would thrive with a family that includes experienced trainers or behaviorists who can help her learn and flourish. If you have the time, patience, and love to dedicate to Avita, she promises to return that affection tenfold. Are you ready to take on the adventure of helping Avita become the best version of herself? If so, she can’t wait to meet you! Together, you can create a beautiful bond and enjoy all the fun and joy she has to offer. Let’s make Avita’s dreams come true!
