Meet Snuffle Muffin: The Sweet, Shy Snuggler!

Snuffle Muffin might just be the cutest name for the cutest little pup! This 4-month-old, neutered boy was surrendered due to his previous home being a bit too full of furry friends, but he’s ready to settle down with a family all his own.

Though a tad shy at first, Snuffle Muffin is a soft-hearted sweetheart who’s eager to share his gentle spirit with anyone patient enough to give him a little time to warm up. Great with other dogs, he’s all about quiet companionship and is more than ready to snuggle into a cozy home where he can finally come out of his shell.

If you’re looking for a sweet, mellow addition to your pack, Snuffle Muffin is the little love you’ve been waiting for!

Snuffle Muffin will be available for adoption on November 8, 2024. His adoption fee will be waived!!

To be entered in the lottery for Snuffle Muffin please contact the shelter at 972-466-3420. November 8, 2024, we will conduct the lottery at 10 am. We will contact the lucky winner to schedule an appointment to meet with Snuffle Muffin that same day for possible adoption.

Please note the "Available" date in the pets description, or contact the shelter to be sure the pet you wish to see is available for adoption. Not all the animals posted are available for adoption, some are still on their "stray holds", this is to allow people who may be looking for a lost pet an opportunity to see the animal in our shelter, it also allows people to see what may be coming available for adoption.

1. All adoptions are on a first come first serve basis, except, if there is more than one person at our doors when we open (Monday, Wednesday, Friday 10 am to 5 pm, Tuesday & Thursday 10 am to 6 pm, and Saturday 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm) we will have a drawing with the winner having first option to adopt.

2. The adoption fee is $10.00 for non-residents and $15.00 for residents (residents must purchase a city registration)

3. The adopter will be required to sign a contract stating they will have the animal spayed or neutered, vaccinated for rabies and provide proof to our office with in 30 days of the adoption, or 30 days after the animal turns 4 months.

4. All fees for veterinary care, including altering is the sole responsibility of the adopter.

5. If the adopter fails to have the procedures completed and the receipt of the procedures returned to our office a citation with fines of up to $2000.00 may be issued.
