My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there, future family!
I'm Ozzy, a 52.6-pound bundle of pure love and joy! At 10 months old, I’ve got the energy of a puppy and the wisdom of… well, still a puppy, but a wise one. My friends say I’m the ultimate "good boy" – friendly to everyone, dogs included. I mean, who doesn’t love making new friends, right?
I’m ready to be your new partner-in-crime, couch snuggler, and snack supervisor. I come fully loaded with all my shots, a shiny new neuter, and a clean bill of health – all covered for just $110. So if you're looking for a buddy to bring you endless smiles and occasional shoe-nibbling (hey, it’s a phase, I swear!), then I'm your guy. Let’s do this – I can’t wait to meet you! Call the shelter to schedule an appt to meet me 256 362 5856.

More about this shelter

We are the Animal Control Facility for the City of Talladega. We provide animal control services for the entire county of Talladega excluding the city limits of Lincoln, Sylacauga, and Childersburg. We work with lots of rescues all over the US and Canada. We do some local adoptions but don't have many people come in locally looking to adopt. A lot of our pets are transferred to our rescue partners. We do accept donations of cleaning supplies, dry cat/kitten, dry dog/puppy food, cat litter, and chew toys. We are also always looking for short term foster homes for our pets going to rescues. Usually it's only for a 2-4 week period before the pet leaves for his/her rescue. If you are interested feel free to contact us at 256-362-5856
