Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Pebbles is about 7 years old, and Ive had her since she was about 1. She is a big playful, energetic, hilarious, expressive, loving, loyal, snuggly baby. Pebbles loves sunbathing and being outside. She catches treats (lettuce is her favorite! I'm serious!), enjoys puzzle and treat-dispensing toys, and loves tug of war. She has been so receptive to new rules and routines, and has always been an excellent walker, well potty-trained, and can stay home alone without issue--though she will VERY MUCH miss you and meet you at the door with elation.
You should be experienced, calm, and active (exercising her is vital). She prefers women but could adjust to a gentle, very patient dad. She needs socializing with people--Pebbles isn't good with sudden shouting, men drinking, or groups on her turf. Pebbles has co-habitated with two tiny yorkies pretty well, so with the right transition and skilled parent she should adapt to living with other pups; chases bunnies; reptiles ok; birds and cats N/A.
