Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Are you ready to add a new adventure buddy to your life? Look no further than Otto! For such a little guy, he has quite the personality and charms everyone with his adorable looks. Don’t let this little guy fool you; he would love to go on hikes, runs, or join you on any outdoor adventures you have planned. He is always thrilled to see new people and will greet you with a big smile too. Otto is very much still a puppy at heart and is eager to learn new skills. He is working on polishing up his manners when he meets new people and is doing a great job. Otto can be a bit cautious around other dogs and may need gradual and multiple introductions. Be sure to consult our adoption specialists about bringing your current dog(s) to meet him and they will guide you on the next steps.
Otto is neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on his vaccines. His adoption fee is $150. Please email adoptions@hstt.org for more information.
*We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each dog based on personality and the behavior we’ve observed rather than a breed label.

Pet ownership is a serious responsibility. The policy of the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe is to ensure that each person who adopts a pet not only is aware of the responsibility, but that each person is willing and able to accept that responsibility morally, physically and financially. Not every person who desires to own a pet should own a pet.
The adoption application is designed to help us make the best placement possible — the right home for each animal and the right animal for your home. The adoption process takes time because we are committed to giving you all the information and support you need to have a successful adoption. We ask for your patience and cooperation in the joyful process of bringing people and animals together.
TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AN ADOPTION, YOU MUST:
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Provide a suitable confined area for the animal.
• Understand that the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe reserves the right to deny any adoption.
Our adoption fees are as follows: Dogs (over four months) = $110.00 Puppies (under four months) = $160.00 Cats (over four months) = $75.00 Kittens (under four months) = $100.00 Adoption fees will be due upon completion of adoption. Cash, check or credit cards are gladly accepted.
