Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Jose, a 9-month-old mixed breed with a heart as big as his smile! Jose made the journey from Alabama, and now he's here in search of his new family. This young pup has a natural love for everyone he meets, greeting both kids and adults with that sweet, tail-wagging enthusiasm.
Jose's southern shelter folks say he's great with other dogs, too, and enjoys being around his furry friends. With a gentle personality and a warm, social vibe, he's the kind of dog who just seems to make friends everywhere he goes. Whether he's outside exploring or cozying up with his people, Jose's just happy to be there.
At only 9 months, Jose is still in that puppy phase, so he'll be looking for a family that can give him the playtime, socialization, and training to keep him happy and balanced. If you're looking for a sweet, easygoing companion who adores people and dogs alike, Jose could be your perfect match!
If you're ready to adopt now and want to learn more about, meet, or adopt this pet, you can start the process in one of two ways:
Come on in during open adoption hours Tuesday - Saturday 12:30-3:00! For in-shelter pets (not in foster care) coming in ASAP is the fastest way to adopt.
**the below two methods are slower than visiting us**
Call us (413-781-4000 x 1) or email us (springfield@dakinhumane.org) for more information about a pet. We are often on the line with another client, but we return voice mail and emails within 24 hours.
All adult dog adoption fees include;
-spay/neuter
-rabies and kennel cough vaccinations
- heartworm test
-current parvo/distemper vaccines (may need additional boosters with your veterinarian)
-microchip implanted & registered to adopter
